Well, I can certainly say that this Mother's Day was a LOT different than last year. Last year, I remember being very worried and concerned about the two little lives known as Baby A and Baby B, which were inside me. I knew that the existence of those two lives made me a mother, but I wondered whether I would ever get to BE their mother. Oh, how my arms ached to hold them!
Now that they are here and alive and in our care - a part of our lives - we rejoice that it is our privilege to parent them. Ian and I often look at them with wonder - as, I'm sure, we will continue to do for some time!
Our lives will always be changing as they develop and grow. Even now, we are witnessing Christopher beginning to roll over. What a difference it will make when he can get wherever he wants to go on his own steam! (Despite our desire for him not to be wherever he wants to go.) He continues to be very social and cheerful, when not in teething pain, and our housemates really enjoy getting giggles out of him.
Corban is also beginning to laugh more. Ian is better at getting giggly responses from him than I am, but Corban's teaching us both what he likes. As we continue to transition between seizure meds, we are noticing improvements the further along we get. Our therapists are very eager to work with him and we find them very helpful.
I've published some new photos below, which shows you how glad we are that spring is here. May you fully enjoy the wonderful spring weather as much as we have!

OH! Ian and I sometimes wonder how in the world a whole YEAR has almost passed since they were born. It's an amazing reality that we've been blessed with. Thank you for your comments, and I hope to post more updates early in June.
